Each player who graduates from a YAS session during 5 or more summers (not necessarily consecutive summers) receives 
a plaque.

Medallions are awarded to YAS g
raduates who improve their individual and team basketball skills, and who remain team-oriented and sportsmanlike during competitions
    
YAS 2007 medallion recipients are listed below. 

Skills - reinforcement tournaments are held during afternoons of each YAS regular session. 

During YAS tournaments and competitions, each player plays equally and has the chance to reinforce the skills they learned during morning instructional and drill sessions.

Top performances of players at YAS 2007 are listed below.

 

Hot Shot is a special YAS tournament in which players learn to shoot accurately and quickly under pressure. Hot Shot tournaments is precisely measured, timed and score kept. 
   
Senior scores above 60 are exceptional and are entered into the all-time official hot shot records list kept on the YAS web site.  The list has scores dating back to 1983.   Check out the list by logging in to the YAS home page and then clicking on the link " All-Time Official Hot Shot Records "

Immediately following the final YAS weekly session of each summer, the YAS North-South Tournament is held in either Regina or Saskatoon on a weekend.  At their respective awards ceremonies, every senior graduate and some advanced bantam graduates are given formal invitation letters to return and to play in the tournament. 
   
The 2007 North-South Ironman Tournament was held in Saskatoon Aug 24 and 25.

The YAS 2007 North-South Ironman tournament brought together 48 invited graduates.  Players were drafted into eight balanced and
equal-strength teams, each comprised of six players. 
Each team played two games Friday evening and six games on Saturday.
             
The 2007 North-South Ironman tournament championship was won by the team representing South-Central Saskatchewan. Champion Team members were:
