YAS was founded in 1975
initially as an all-girls
summer basketball school.
     
Since 1976 YAS has offered
girls, boys and co-ed camps.
  
Since 1975, YAS summer camps
have graduated 11,584 players
from 267 communities across
Western Canada and beyond.
 
YAS graduates return to
their homes where they use
the skills they developed at YAS
to excel on their school teams.

At YAS camps players learn
a wide range of basketball skills
including how to shoot  .  .  .

sound of "Nothing but Net"
